Affiliations

NEBC Partnership Grants The NEBC is a member of the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and is represented on its Education Committee. The committee's mission is to provide Chamber members with educational and professional development opportunities, to utilize the educational resources available in the area, and to act as a liaison between the Chamber and the NEBC. Through the Education Committee, the NEBC and Chamber collaborate on the Career Expo. The NEBC appreciates the support of the Chamber and welcomes the opportunity to work more closely to build partnerships between business and education.

Looking Forward and Back
We would like to thank each of our new and long-time Sponsors and Members for contributing over $47,000, a new record for the NEBC! Nearly every dollar raised was used to fund traditional programs, such as Partnership Grants and the Book Bag program, and fuel new initiatives such as the Entrepreneurship Course at the high school.

For the second year, the NEBC has collaborated with the Newburyport Education Foundation (NEF) to build philanthropy for the Newburyport Public Schools. This year, the NEBC helped to connect with key business donors to make the renovation of the RAN Middle School science labs a reality. This effort was in keeping with the NEBC�s mission of strengthening programs that prepare students for future careers in fast-changing fields such as science and technology. Both organizations will continue to discuss ways in which they can collaborate on mutual goals.
