Externships

NEBC Partnership Grants The Externship Program allows teachers the opportunity to see their subject in practice in the workplace through job shadowing, industry immersion or a full integration of workplace experiences. Through these experiences, teachers gain knowledge of the latest workplace application of their subject and establish community connections for ongoing project based learning. This year, the program was modified to make it more flexible for teachers. In addition to the summer period, teachers may now apply for an externship during the fall or spring semesters.
