Partnership Grants
The Partnership Grant Program is the heart of the Newburyport Education Business Coalition. The program joins business partners with teachers who then work together to create meaningful educational experiences that allow students to apply their skills to the world of work. The program directly connects the standards-based curriculum content to the skills that relate to real life experiences. Students have chosen the specific fields explored through the partnership program as careers and pursued master's degrees in related fields as a result of their participation.
This year more than $15,000 has been awarded to teachers and students to continue building the bridge between education and the workplace.
